While the top of the ticket campaigned in Wisconsin for both parties on Wednesday, more politicians are touring the battleground state, including Thursday and Friday on WIZM’s La Crosse Talk PM.

Wikler

Donald Trump campaigned Wednesday in Green Bay with retired NFL quarterback Brett Favre. The former Packer is now shadowed by a welfare spending scandal in his home state of Mississippi.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris stopped in Madison to rally voters, with six days until Election Day.

In La Crosse, Democratic Party of Wisconsin chair Ben Wikler will be in the WIZM studio for La Crosse Talk PM on Thursday. Wikler has been instrumental in helping rally campaign contributions in the state through readings of shows like Parks and Rec., the Princess Bride and Veep reunion with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Plus, on Friday’s La Crosse Talk PM, Olivia Troye — former advisor to ex-Vice President Mike Pence — and former Georgia Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan will be in studio.

Duncan, also a Republican, was a Division 1 basketball standout at Georgia Tech — so there might be more than just politics discussed.

La Crosse Talk PM airs weekdays at 5:06 p.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Watch on Facebook Live. And, find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

Be sure to ask him why all the major liberal newspapers, including Tim Walz’ hometown Minneapolis newspaper declined to endorse Harris. These are all so-called newspapers that had endorsed Biden and Obama previously.

    Harris…nope.
