Antony announces resignation at Onalaska; Rosseter will be acting head of school system

The Onalaska school district needs a new superintendent.

Todd Antony is stepping down this week, after five years as head of the Onalaska district, having previously served as principal at Irving Pertzsch Elementary.

Finance director Janet Rosseter will be in charge of the district, while a superintendent search begins.

Earlier this year, Antony presided over a ground-breaking for a remodeling project at Onalaska High School. Construction is in progress on the $75 million project, approved in a 2022 referendum, to expand space inside the high school and middle school, which will benefit science and music instruction.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
