Actor Scarlett Johansson joined WIZM’s La Crosse Talk on Monday to promote a “get out the vote” effort and discuss women’s health care rights, among other — sillier — things.

Johansson has been an actor nearly her entire life. She’s also married to Colin Jost, the anchor of Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live, which was discussed.

La Crosse Talk airs weekdays at 6-9 a.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

Johansson, 39, is known to do many of her own stunts and that was part of where the health care chat came in but we also discussed women’s health care and how that might continue to deteriorate under Donald Trump.

Johansson was the highest-paid actress in 2018 and 2019. Her films have grossed over $15.4 billion worldwide.

La Crosse Talk airs weekdays at 6-8 a.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska).

Jared, it wasn’t a “get” it was a “gimme.” The Harris campaign assigned her to talk to someone in this radio market and since Solem/WIZM is the biggest political whore locally, Solem’s buddy Garcia tossed him a bone. That’s how these things work.

Considering Solem usually looks like he just crawled out of Cameron Park, he shouldn’t get too excited.

She’s as stupid as Solem. Abortion is not banned in Wisconsin.

Did Solem ask how stopping a beating heart at 10 weeks is women’s healthcare. I would have liked to hear her answer.

Solem asked her a much more relevant question (sarcasm), “Are you more of a Star Trek fan or Star Wars?” Answer: I am more of a Spaceballs person. Yeah, Brad Williams actually put that Irrelevant question and answer on the local news segment.

Ended Scarlett Johansson actually say that Trump wanting to protect women from violent illegal immigrants is actually threatening to women because of the way he phrased it? Yeah, I believe she did. I guess she is more of a Spaceballs person Because that’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve heard yet in this election cycle
