Fran Finco and Roger Fruit chosen as acting superintendents for Onalaska schools
The Onalaska School District will have two interim superintendents, while searching for a successor to recently departed Todd Antony.
The interim appointees are Fran Finco and Roger Fruit.
Finco is a former Onalaska superintendent. He served as in that position from 2011 to 2019, during nearly 30 years working with the district. Fruit was a principal at Northern Hills Elementary and Onalaska Middle School, then later served as the district’s director of instruction.
Antony announced his departure at the end of October. Fruit and Finco will begin their new positions in December, as the Onalaska district searches for a new full-time superintendent, who could start work in July.
