A Holmen school bus crashed into a house early Tuesday morning, shortly before 6:30. There were no children on the bus, but a person in the house apparently had minor injuries.

Village police say the Holmen district bus left the road multiple times while traveling on 2nd Avenue, and then struck a house in the 300 block of State Street. An occupant of the house had to be removed through a bedroom window, and was transported by ambulance for treatment.

Officers say the bus had left the road repeatedly before the crash.

The state patrol is assisting Holmen police with the investigation.
