Fry pleads not guilty because of mental disease in stepfather’s death
A trial will be scheduled in a La Crosse murder case dating back to last January.
Alan Fry has entered a plea of not guilty, because of mental disease. He’s accused of shooting his stepfather, Brady Fredrickson.
The murder happened at a house on Farnam Street. The 42-year-old Fry could be examined for competence before his next court hearing, around the middle of next year. Four charges have been filed against Fry, including endangering safety and arson.
He remains in the county jail, on a bond of $750,000. Fry is scheduled to return to court in June.
