As I See It
As I See It, Return to Act 10…12/4/24
Under the category “Here We Go Again”…
A judge in Dane County has ruled on collective bargaining for Wisconsin public employees, effectively reversing the Act 10 legislation that took effect shortly after Scott Walker became governor in 2010, his most famous attempt to reform state government. The law led to weeks of demonstrations at the State Capitol. When Walker visited La Crosse shortly after the passage of Act 10, a crowd of protesters surrounded his car on the street. I was there, and it was a strange scene. And it led to a recall campaign against Walker, which he won, allowing him to suggest that most of the state agreed with him.
Walker is reacting to the new ruling, calling it judicial activism. And he suggests that this will influence how people vote in the April Supreme Court race, apparently hinting that if the court gets a conservative majority, they’ll reverse that new ruling. I wasn’t expecting “Act 10, the Sequel”…but it could just make the spring elections a lot more contentious. I’m Brad Williams, on WIZM.

The road to Illinois starts. The liberal cities especially Madison and Milwaukee will do to Wisconsin what Chicago has done to Illinois.
All the interior counties in California went for Trump but does not matter the rich elites on the coast run the state and have been running it into financial hades.

The liberals just have to find one Madison judge to overturn more than a decade of state law. Liberals legislate through the judiciary because their socialist ideas ring hollow with the voters. They have found the winning formula as we saw with Judge Janet’s Supreme Court victory leading to redistricting and Democrat gains in November.
The Supreme Court race in 2025 will be Republicans’ only chance of reversing this trend for the near future. They need a candidate who will admonish activist judges and respect precedent.
