It seems that each year when we approach the holiday shopping season, there are more choices than the year before.  You have stores that have online websites.  You have online websites that you can ship your purchase to the actual store.  You have the big box retailers and then you have my favorite choice, the local business.  Say what you want about buying it and having it shipped online but how frustrating is it when you get the item and it doesn’t fit or it’s not exactly the color or style that you saw on the computer screen.

Buying local and supporting local merchants keeps the local economy growing and also eliminates a lot of empty storefronts.  And you know exactly what you are getting when you walk out their front door.
