Wisconsin Democratic Party chair Wikler uses WIZM appearance to get on Daily Show with Jon Stewart
Ben Wikler, Democratic Party of Wisconsin chair, is vying for the national job.
Heading into the fall election finale, Wikler joined WIZM’s La Crosse Talk PM to discuss Wisconsin’s $4 billion surplus and those fall elections, where Democrats won in the Legislature and for US Senate but lost the presidential race.
Wikler clearly took that La Crosse Talk PM appearance to, not just boost his profile to be a frontrunner for chair of the Democratic National Committee, but also get an appearance Monday on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. #Sarcasm.
And Stewart, who has not been happy with the Democrats’ messaging of late, was clearly enthusiastic about what Wikler had to say.
