Driver suspected in fatal Monroe County accident lifts time limit for court hearing
A Monroe County driver accused of causing a deadly collision last month has returned to court.
Thirty-nine-year-old Kristoffer Cattle of Tomah has waived the time limits for a pre-trial hearing on a reckless homicide charge.
Cattle is accused of driving drunk in November when he crossed the center line on a Monroe County road, and crashed into another vehicle. The second driver, David Wilcox, was killed, and a passenger of his was hurt.
Cattle faces nine charges in all, including homicide and driving under the influence. He’s scheduled to appear again in court in Sparta in late January.
