Seju crashes into La Crosse hotel wall — no injuries reported

Construction workers were busy on Friday fixing a wall at a La Crosse hotel where a semi crashed into the building.

No one was reported to be in the room at the Quality Inn on Rose Street where the vehicle struck the hotel.

The semi may have been going too fast for conditions and reportedly spun around before hitting the north side of the hotel. It had been snowing in the area and the city was under a snow emergency.

Workers on the scene had covered the hole in the wall by Friday afternoon.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
