A past candidate for the La Crosse County Board has been nominated for a vacant board seat.

Kristie Tweed of Holmen is being recommended to the board by chair Tina Tryggestad, to fill the 24th District seat at its next meeting on February 10th. Tweed has run for the board in the last two elections, and she was one of two candidates interviewed for the vacancy.

Kevin Hoyer recently resigned from the seat representing the Onalaska and Holmen area, because he moved to a different district. La Crosse County supervisors serve two-year terms, and are elected in even-numbered years, so Tweed could serve a year before the next election if she is appointed.

Another non-profit employee who assists the “needy”.

Soon, it will be known as “The La Crosse County Board of Social Workers.”

It’s worse than that, Roy. You always need to be aware of what WIZM is not telling you as it is often more newsworthy than what they do tell you. Not mentioned is that Tweed’s previous position was campaign manager for Democrat Steve Doyle. These county board positions are supposed to be non-partisan by WI statute. Yet what we end up with is same as LX City council, La Crosse school district board, and county board; all controlled by career progressive parasites.
