Gunshot inside Holmen building leads to charges against man arrested near high school

A gunfire incident at a Holmen residence has led to the arrest of a 47-year-old man.
Jeremy BoBo of Holmen is accused of firing a gun inside a second-floor apartment in the 1600 block of Prairie Place Friday morning. Holmen police say the bullet went through the ceiling and struck a window in a third-floor apartment that was unoccupied. No one was injured.

Holmen officers and La Crosse County sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop at a roundabout near Holmen High School. Bobo continued driving, and reportedly stopped to drop a passenger off at the school. The school building was placed on secure status because of the possibility that the driver had a weapon, and Briggs Road near the school was temporarily blocked off during the traffic stop.
BoBo faces five criminal charges:
Felony possession of a firearm,
2nd degree recklessly endangering safety,
Operating a vehicle without owner’s consent,
Receiving stolen property,
And a probation hold.
As of Friday afternoon, BoBo was being held in the La Crosse County jail.
