Separate arrests in child porn cases put two Holmen men in jail

Two men have been arrested in Holmen on child pornography charges, apparently resulting from separate investigations.

Police in Holmen say 49-year-old Jason Lawry and 26-year-old Alexander Kinstler were booked into the La Crosse County jail after searches of their separate homes late last week. Both men are accused of possessing child porn, and are awaiting court appearances.

The arrests happened last Friday and Saturday, and were announced by the police department on Tuesday. State and local investigators have been working on the cases, along with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Local police also worked through the Coulee Region Children’s Internet Protection Task Force on the investigations.
