A La Crosse woman is accused of battery to a law officer, after an incident at a downtown hotel. Fifty-one-year-old Milisa Flowers faces six criminal counts, also including resisting or obstructing an officer.

City police say they were called to the Hampton Inn on 3rd Street early Wednesday, when Flowers reportedly was hiding in a bathroom and refused to leave. Flowers says she was seeking asylum.

A criminal complaint says that as officers tried to arrest Flowers, she resisted, yelling and swearing, and kicked an officer repeatedly in the leg. She also refused to leave the squad car once she was taken to jail.

Judge Ramona Gonzalez approved a $1000 signature bond for Flowers, and scheduled her next court appearance in this and other outstanding cases for February 27th.

A criminal that is so violent and has such disregard for even law enforcment was released back onto the streets.
The judge set her up for failure and chose to ignore her obvious mental illness.
Now any resudent of LaCrosse risks triggering this violent individual and risks being injured.

Didn’t President Trump recently pardon a bunch of “cop-beaters”?
Maybe Gonzalez should simply rule not guilty & save the tax payers a lot of time and money?
Or… feel free explaining the difference in the law between Flowers actions from those who received those pardons from Trump himself?
That “Thin-Blue-Line” and that “Back-The-Blue” support has now been forever fractured and that was done by our current President Of The United States by giving those pardons…correct?
