A million-dollar ticket.

That’s what someone bought for $2 at the Festival Foods Village store in La Crosse for Monday night’s Powerball drawing according to lottery officials in Madison.

The ticket matched all five numbers of 2-17-18-29-43 but missed the Powerball number of 3.

In recent years, the lottery office said, the Village Festival Foods sold tickets of $31,866 and $200,000.

Wisconsin is having a bit of a hot streak with lottery wins. In the last week, two $100,000 tickets for the All or Nothing game and a $50,000 Powerball ticket were sold in the state.

The million-dollar winner has 180 days from Monday to claim their prize.

By the way, Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is $154 million.
