Forbes has recognized a La Crosse based business as one of its Top 100 best large employers for 2025.

Kwik Trip placed 76th on the list.

The company has more than 850 convenience stores under the Kwik Trip or Kwik Star name in the Upper Midwest.

More than 36,000 people are employed by the company.

Forbes compiles its yearly rankings based on anonymous surveys from employees with each company.

Kwik Trip came in 13th on another Forbes list — this one for Best Customer Service.

The Mayo Clinic made the top 100, there too, coming in at No. 23.

Kwik Trip sucks to work for. It’s a sweat shop whether you work in a store or in operations/the DC. They’ll work you to death dangling that profit sharing bonus worm right in front of you.

    Still my favorite gas station.
