A 19-year-old man has been charged with second-degree sexual assault after a weekend incident at a UW-La Crosse residence hall.

Logan Zdanowicz is accused of having intercourse with a female UW-L student while she was under the influence and could not give consent.

Police say Zdanowicz and the woman had been at a bar near the university with friends on Saturday night then went to a house party before returning to campus.

The criminal complaint stated the victim of the assault says she thinks she may have been drugged and was unable to fight back.

A criminal complaint says Zdanowicz was questioned by police about “roofie roulette,” a drinking game in which one person might be drugged by chance. He said he had heard of the game, but has never done it.

Zdanowicz given a signature bond, and is scheduled to return to court next week.
