The winter storm forces the cancellation of the afternoon American Airlines flight at the La Crosse Regional Airport.

The arriving Flight 6132 from Chicago, which was supposed to land at 2:36 p.m., is listed as canceled when looking at the airport’s flight status section of its website.

The subsequent departure from the airport back to Chicago O’Hare at 5 p.m. is also canceled.

Information from FlightAware.com shows that 87 cancelations happened today out of Chicago with 392 delays.

The Associated Press is reporting that approximately 600 flights got canceled today across the country due to the severe weather.
