Reservist dies at Ft. McCoy

Fort McCoy said a soldier has died at the installation.

In a release dated March 15, it said that a U.S. Army Reserve Soldier died on Friday, March 14.

The soldier was attending a planning conference at the installation.

The release said that per Department of Defense policy, the name of the soldier won’t be released for at least 24 hours after notification of the soldier’s family.

No other information on the death was available from the fort.
