The School District of La Crosse has released details of the design of the new school at the Hogan Administrative site off of Market Street.

The were part of a presentation given last week by the district.

It shows a three story building for 4K-5th grade students have their classrooms plus the location of the gymnasium, library and other parts of the school.

The new main building is on the open area/ballfield part of the property.

Where the current building sits would be torn down and become a playground area and field for soccer.

Parking remains in the same area as it is now.

Students currently at Emerson and Spence Elementary schools would move to the new school as part of the consolidation process for the district’s schools when last November’s referendum was passed by voters.

Most of the students and staff at Hintgen Elementary would move to State Road Elementary which is expanding with new classrooms and a gym to accommodate the new students.

According to the district’s plan, other students from Spence and Hintgen would transfer to Hamilton Elementary.

Look at a copy of the plan below.
