UW-La Crosse political science professor, Dr. Anthony Chergosky in studio reacting to the La Crosse mayor candidate debate hosted by WIZM last week.

We also discussed Rebecca Cooke getting back into the US House race in Wisconsin’s 3rd District, more reaction for the Wisconsin Supreme Court debate and why a Cheeto sold at auction for $87,840.

The la crosse mayor candidate debate at UW-L on March 12, 2025, between Shaundel Washington-Spivey and Chris Kahlow.

Started the show with Cooke getting back into the race against Derrick Van Orden and how the two never debated.

With the mayor’s debate, we broke down some of the questions, including one that came off pretty racist.

After that, we talked about how the Wisconsin Supreme Court debate went between Susan Crawford and Brad Schimel, and the money flowing into that race.

Lastly, the flaming hot Cheeto that sold for nearly $90k because of what it looked like.

Solem drawing a conclusion that a question from the audience about DEI was a racist question shows how any concerns expressed about DEI implementation are seen by liberals as racist. In other words, you’re not allowed to even ask a question without being pegged as an undesirable person.

DEI is very much in the news today, with the Federal government abandoning DEI and many companies distancing themselves from a liberal move to advance the interests of their voter base. It’s failing for the same reasons that affirmative action failed; It is preferential as ruled by the courts. Questions about it’s local adherents couldn’t be more relevant which causes one to wonder why Spivey refused to comment on the question.

We know who Rick endorses. WIZM has become his bullypulpet.
