As I See It
Permanent residency is a privilege, not a free pass

Mahmoud Khalil, the self-proclaimed spokesman for Columbia University Apartheid Divest, holds a green card granting him permanent resident status. However, permanent residents are not U. S. citizens. Permanent residency is a privilege, not a free pass to support extremist movements that promote antisemitism and call for the destruction of America and its allies. (1)
U. S. immigration law is abundantly clear. Non-citizens who endorse terrorist groups or threaten national security can face deportation. (2)
This isn’t about free speech, as the left would have you believe. It’s about enforcing the law and following the rules. (3)
If Khalil is using his time in the United States to spread a dangerous ideology, then he has got to go. (4)
The opportunity of studying here does not include the right to undermine this great country that granted you this amazing privilege. (5)
