Bond reduced for shooting suspect Moran in La Crosse gun incident

A La Crosse man suspected in a north-side shooting his month has gotten a reduction in his cash bond.

Judge Scott Horne has lowered the bond for 19-year-old Jaysen Moran to $75,000. It had been set at $100,000, after Moran was arrested in early March for a Logan Street gunfire incident which wounded a 17-year-old victim.

Moran will return to court this Friday, March 28th. He is still prohibited from possessing guns or knives. He is facing a charge of attempted 1st degree murder, for the shooting that occurred March 9th. Two other persons suspected in the shooting are juveniles, under 17.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk."
