Began the show on Wisconsin having the most expensive state Supreme Court race in the U.S. history — breaking second place, which was Wisconsin last year.
And we got into the infestation of politics in the race, but we veered away from that and theorized on the best spot for national campaigns to show how local they can be, and it has to do with Friday fish fires.
After that, we switched gears and talked about how in Miami they scalp their tickets in line to the DMV. That somehow led back to the state Supreme Court race, where Elon Musk has donated over $13 million for Republican Brad Schimel and a way we can turn that into fixing Wisconsin’s roads instead of this gas tax.
To end the show, we talk about the Texas-based Buc-ee’s going up on the other side of the state and how that community is fighting it. Plus, could Buc-ee’s ever overtake Kwik Trip and why hasn’t the La Crosse-based gas station given Chergosky a sponsorship deal.
Lastly, we hit on getting rid of, not just the penny, but all change.
