Homeowners and renters can learn about programs that are available to them that can help with repairs and saving money through energy efficiency at an event from Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region.

The Upgrade and Save: Energy Assistance and Repair Expo happens on Thursday, March 27, starting at 4 p.m. at the La Crosse Public Library at 800 Main Street.

Besides answering questions, the goals of the expo are connecting people with the programs they need and remove any barriers for those needing assistance.

Representatives with the city, Couleecap, Xcel Energy, Lead Safe Homes, and Focus on Energy are at the event for a pair of presentations, one on home repairs and the other on energy efficiency.

The expo is free to attend but Habitat is asking that people RSVP.

You can do that through the Habitat website by clicking here.
