It’s a sure sign of spring with the opening of a La Crosse landmark, Rudy’s Drive-In.

It opened for the season at 11 am today. Cars were already pulling into the stalls before they began serving.

As always, Rudy’s is serving up root beer, burgers, chili dogs, fries, and onion rings delivered by carhops on roller skates.

This is the 92nd year of the drive-in restaurant in La Crosse and 59th year at the location at Tenth and La Crosse Street according to the history of Rudy’s on its website.
