As I See It

To the self-proclaimed national security experts on social media, please listen up.

In the world of intelligence, success belongs to those who adapt quickly, unpredictably, and with unwavering discipline.

Case in point, the Navajo code talkers of World War II and the one-time pads and code books used during the Cold War. These were considered unconventional communication methods, but were never broken.

On the other hand, the Germans relied solely on enigma encryption, which we ultimately cracked and it led to their downfall.

Defense Secretary Pete Hagsteth was wisely using the Signal app, a secure communication channel that our adversaries were unaware that we were using. But one careless leak by a reporter has now erased that advantage. The reporter should have immediately deleted the message and alerted the group owner. This isn’t about transparency or free speech. It’s about national security. When discipline slips, our assets are compromised, and our safety is put at risk.

As I see it, I’m Andy Parrish.

    Andy..

You meant well and I thank you for it.

It wasn’t a “leak” that got the military plan in the email box of the Atlantic editor.

It was sent to him, through a mistake at the Pentagon, the source of which is desperately trying to be hidden by Pete Hegseth, Defense Secretary.

You don’t seriously expect Jeff Goldberg, Atlantic Editor In Chief, to cover-up the Pentagon’s mistake, do you? A Trump hater playing ball with the administration “for the security of the country”?

You’ve been watching too many old movies with FDR yucking it up with reporters during World War II.

I’m glad to correct myself before you have to, Andy. It wasn’t an “email” to
Goldberg as I stated-it was a text. Nevertheless, both forms of communication are initiated by the sender and are not “leaked.” The rest of my thoughts stand.

The media duplicity is overwhelming. During Trump 1 there were literally hundreds of leaks out of every department including the White House staff (the “swamp”) starting on day one that undermined his presidency. If the leaks weren’t enough then they simply made things up and the media followed along. There no complaints from the self-rightous Left.

And now the same people are outraged over a genuine mistake that has been admitted to by all involved and its portrayed as the end of the world.

It was a mistake. The mistake caused no harm. Changes will be made to prevent reoccurance. The military strike was succesful. Get over it.

      Starters:
Cut back reliance on AP. Its terrible. Introduce some other sources.
      Knock off the distortive headlines.
Bring more independents and conservatives onto the live shows.
Stop with the UWL “professor” and political party hacks and stooges unless you can at least find political balance.

Bart, I see little interest in making programming changes at WIZM; its just not that tough if they really had an interest in making change. Good luck.

Careful Andy… you’re drawing the line between the conservatives that actually care and think VS. the ones who are the bootlickers and will defend ANY mistake the admin makes.

Bart, most of them are not errors; they are intentional.
