Selective Left-Rage v. Reality – Alirzea Doroudi

Alireza Doroudi, he is an Iranian student pursuing his PhD in mechanical engineering at the University of Alabama.

He arrived in the United States on an F1 student visa in January of 2023. Six months later, the Biden administration revoked his visa.

Instead of leaving, he decided to stay an extra two years to continue his studies anyway.

Fast forward to this week. ICE stepped in, detained Doroudi, and is now presumably preparing to deport him.

Now, cue the left’s outrage. Get ready for the usual cries of Trump is dividing America, he’s targeting his opponents, and the ever-present fascism alarm bells.

But now I’m going to cue reality. We now have a government that understands its primary role is to protect its citizens. And that starts with enforcing the law. Without the rule of law, society falls apart. And that’s when true division begins.
