Black River Falls drug investigation leads to 7 arrests

Law enforcement in Jackson County arrest seven people early Saturday morning as part of a drug investigation.
Black River Falls Police Chief Travis Brown said that all seven are from the city.
Police, members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, and Wisconsin State Patrol raided 808 Pierce Street in Black River Falls at 6 a.m. Saturday morning.
The seven people were in the residence at the time of the raid.
During the arrest, there were drugs found throughout the home, according to Brown. The search found methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, marijuana, and prescription medications.

Was released from custody due to medical issues
Brown said that, with the exception of Sanchez, everyone is currently in the Jackson County Jail awaiting court appearances.
The chief said Sanchez was released for medical reasons.
He stated that the investigation is ongoing.
In the statement, Brown said, “The Black River Falls Police Department takes drug related crimes seriously and is striving to keep our community safe. Drug houses and drug dealing will not be tolerated in this community and every effort will be made to hold those
accountable for their actions.”
