After three years in Winona, La Crosse works out $200,000 deal with big riverboat cruise line

The city of La Crosse is getting ready for the big riverboats to come back for another season.
Members of the council’s Finance and Personnel Committee approved Thursday a docking agreement with American Cruise Lines — so the American Queen and its other boats can dock at Riverside Park for the next 10 years.
The company will pay $20,000 a year to the city, through that agreement.
The ships returned to La Crosse last year, after choosing to dock in Winona for a three-year period.

Hi Brad. You might want to check and see if they bought the American Queen from by their competition. Last I heard it was possibly going to be scrapped.
