Jacob Sciammas and Jamie Schloegel in the WIZM studio making their pitch as conductor wannabes for the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra. They’re the only pair in the competition, and they’re representing the La Crosse Community Nonprofits Initiatives (LCNI).

La Crosse Talk airs weekdays at 6-8 a.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk wherever you get your podcasts.

So, not only do we talk about LCNI, the two also discuss the unique way they want to win the competition, which includes an April 24 trivia fundraiser at the Rivoli.

Donate to their cause here. And listen to the rest of this podcast, as we throw each of the other four conductor wannabe competitors under the bus (sarcastically).

Voting ends April 28. The conductor wannabe winners will perform May 3.
