Republican Van Orden believes farmers will benefit from tariff situation, argues federal judges are attempting to stop Trump’s agenda

U.S. farmers are going to be respected for their work, according to a declaration from 3rd District House Rep. Derrick Van Orden, speaking during a recent virtual town hall.
Van Orden (R-Prairie du Chien) views the ongoing discussion of trade and tariffs between the U.S. and other countries as a process which will bring benefits to farmers.
“We’re in the process of realigning the global trade relationships between all major players on the planet, and some minor ones,” Van Orden said. “It’s gonna be from the perspective of, this is gonna be a level playing field, so that we can perform what the awesome farmers and manufacturers” and others in the U.S. do, “and we’re gonna win.”
About other economic concerns, Van Orden predicts that there will be no taxes imposed on Social Security or tips, because President Donald Trump made that position part of his campaign.
Van Orden also said it’s time to get the judicial branch “back in line.”
He’s upset with federal district judges, arguing that those judges who are generally unelected are attempting to stop Trump’s agenda, and action should be taken by the government to limit the powers of those courts.
Van Orden said district judges have jurisdiction over specific geographical regions, and should not be making rulings on federal government actions.

The main reason that Democrats are critical of Van Orden’s virtual town halls and use of traditional communication methods with constituents is that he’s outsmarted them.
Democrats’ insistence on open-door events where they can “rig” (as Judge Janet would say) the event by planting troublemakers in the audience who aren’t there to ask questions, but to disrupt the event is only to bring chaos to the meeting. Anarchy runs deep in their heritage.
