Bird Flu Appears to Over in Wisconsin

Wisconsin’s department of Ag won’t necessarily count the chickens before they’re hatched, but it’s looking like they can call an end to the avien influenza that swept through a handful of chicken operations in the state and sparked emergency measures. No new bird flu cases reported in three weeks, says the department’s Jim Dick, which is mostly relieving

 

 

 

Dick says the department is preparing for another rash of cases of the flu when temps cool again in the fall.
